The NURIT 8400 is a robust countertop payment device with unparalleled flexibility. Its configurable options make the

NURIT 8400 easily adaptable to a variety of environments and offer investment protection as retailers’ business needs change.

Ideally suited for small to medium-sized retailers that need a solid, long-lasting performer with enhanced security, the PCI PED approved NURIT 8400 is the countertop of choice. This multifunctional payment device supports debit, credit, EMV and value-added applications, such as loyalty programs, gift cards, prepaid and other services.

In addition to providing fast, secure payments, an array of communication options are available, including 14.4 kbps or 56 kbps dial, LAN via Ethernet or RS-485, and GPRS wireless connectivity. Further, USB host/ client and additional RS-232 ports are available for unparalleled peripheral connectivity.

Its flexibility doesn’t stop there. Select either 3MB, 6MB, or up to 12MB of memory for the increasing memory needs for value-added applications. Also, add a long-lasting internal battery for backup operation, or SAM and SD/MMC sockets for enhanced security and memory. These can be easily upgraded or added – even after initial deployment.

Its proven multi-application NURIT Operating System (NOS) provides compatibility among all NURIT devices for easy deployment and a smooth migration from non-PCI PED payment systems. All NURIT applications can be quickly and easily ported to the NURIT 8400.
